2 Years Old!
Hi Everyone,
I thought I would let this cute and overly excited baby demonstrate for you how I feel right now…
It was just over two years ago, on March 8 of 2012 that I published the first article on One Christian Dad. It got a whopping 8 views! It is hard to believe that it has been two years already, but then sometimes it seems like I have been doing this much longer.
Someone recently asked me if I have learned anything since starting the blog. I have learned a lot! But I would have say that the one thing that has struck me is how full of pride the human heart is – at least mine is. Who knew one could be proud of being humble? I have been rebuked enough times to know that in all things I need to seek God in prayer, and that includes praying before I post. (and occasionally I still forget to do that…) It was my Mom who has asked on a number of occasions, “Did you pray before you posted that?” And going through my “all posts” folder I have noticed that I have a lot more unpublished articles sitting there lately because of that very reason. Thanks Mom. Thank you to all of you who continue read my ramblings, rebuke my mistakes, encourage my gifts, and send your comments. Thank you for your prayers.
The article with most views in the last 365 days is Please Stop Badmouthing Your Church.
I hope that you have enjoyed reading as much as I have enjoyed writing.
God bless,
Ryan

Great Blog! Keep it coming! 🙂
Thanks Tom!
Ryan,
Good work on reaching the milestone. Blogging indeed is humbling, even humiliating, work, but really, someone has to do it! May God bless you as you continue to write and to grow, and I look forward to what you’ll produce in the future.
Jeremy
I have enjoyed all your posts, please keep the articles coming.
