James Kanis says:

I’m starting to get warning bells…

A Christian was exposed to the script, and gave Noah a pretty scathing review. He says it’s a giant plug for environmentalists. Apparently the reason the ark is built at all is to save the animals. The plan is that only males go on the ark, so that people would die out and the animals would be able to populate the earth.
He says, “In a very real sense it engages in the very sin of the primeval history in Genesis: A denial of the image of God in man.”

The director? “It’s about environmental apocalypse which is the biggest theme, for me, right now for what’s going on on this planet. So I think it’s got these big, big themes that connect with us. Noah was the first environmentalist.”

I’m gonna sit this one out.
