I appreciated this article by Dr. W. Bredenhof. We in the Canadian Reformed Churches need to take a look at what is happening with our sister over seas. Does the Canadian Reformed Church need change? Yes, but not simply for the sake of change. We are called to be continually reforming, and holding ourselves accountable to scripture. Don’t kid yourself, change will happen, it is happening, there is no such thing as stagnancy. We don’t reach a point and simply stall there in a state of perceived perfection. We are either reforming or deforming, there is either reformation or deformation.
