My Songs Were Played!
So I won the Praise106.5 postive Drive at 5 this week on Tuesday. I was sick in bed so I did not hear it. But I can tell you that I am shocked. Why pick me? Since I did not get to hear it… Here are the songs I chose.
Aaron Shust: My Saviour My God
This is possibly my favorite worship song. Yes it is repeptive, but it is scriptural and man that intro is really good. It makes me want to pick up my guitar again!
Matthew West: Forgiveness
This is the “it” song right now on CCM radio. This song certainly speaks volumes to me as there a few people in my life whom I need to forgive…who m i have forigven actually, but need to reconcile with. The biggest one is coming up shortly. So this song certainly means a lot to me, not only for that but for the fact that I did not deserve to be forgiven…but for the sake of Christ!
Casting Crowns: Glorious Day
This is possibly my favorite CCM song all time…Pure Gospel
Matt Redman: Blessed Be Your Name
We all know 10,000 reasons, but this song is just as good. Bless the lord!
Jason Gray: Who I am to You
Yeah its not scripturally sound, but God does love you and me! I love the guitar riff.

I like most of your choices there Ryan! Except Forgiveness. The words are great ….but the music/and the “whining” sound (the wha-a-a-wha-a-a wha-a-a) that accompanies it drives me batty. I actually will switch the station when I hear it now. But the rest – great songs!! Enjoy spending your $25! (spend it wisely!)

Nice choices! “Forgiveness” has been a useful song phrase to say over and over to myself…It has helped me. Love it. “Oh Glorious Day!” “Blessed be your Name!” Thanks for the good listen before heading to bed.
